Altug’s journey in financial services began in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1997. Driven by a passion for finance and investing, he moved to the United States in 2000 to earn his Master’s in Finance from Boston College, blending his background in industrial engineering with deep analytical rigor. This path led him to earn the globally recognized Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in 2012, a milestone that reflects the technical depth and institutional discipline he brings to our clients today. Before joining Madison Partners, Altug spent about 7 years at Fidelity Investments and 13 years at Schwab Wealth Advisory, where he partnered with hundreds of high-net-worth families and institutions.
Whether Altug is navigating complex NUA strategies, Roth conversions or implementing hedging and income strategies using options, his focus is always on improving efficiency through disciplined, goal-based investing. Altug takes great pride in being a trusted partner for his clients as they navigate life’s biggest milestones, from planning a fulfilling retirement to creating tax-efficient legacies. On a personal note, Altug lives in Winter Springs, Florida, with his wife of over 20 years and our three children. When not at his desk, you’ll likely find the family enjoying Florida’s beautiful beaches or traveling internationally to explore new cultures together.
