Shane D. Kieler CFP®
What differentiates our financial practice from many in the industry is our focus on wealth transfer strategies. Because the advice we give is comprehensive, we require clients to include both their tax and legal professionals during the planning process. Our goal is to teach. If families can understand the “how” and “why” behind each strategy, the decisions and the most optimal solutions become apparent.
Our financial practice is closely guided by the ongoing, annual training required to maintain my CFP® designation. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP® only to financial advisors who meet the board’s requirements for professionalism. To gain certification, one must pass the CFP® Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.
Our passion for wanting to help people is what has led our financial practice to where it is today. As financial advisors, it’s our job to teach families so they are able to make informed decisions. Our hope is that each family is confident and concerned enough to ask questions about all aspects of their own situation.
My wife, Shiro, and I have one child, Winston, who was born in July of 2017. Shiro is a radiologist at the University of Wisconsin-Hospital and is also a licensed doctor in the UK. Winston has brought an overwhelming amount of love and joy to our family, and we are cherishing each and every moment with him as parents. At this point, our favorite family activity is traveling, especially to Kenya, where Shiro is from.
