Madison Partners Named to Newsweek’s America’s Top Financial Advisory Firms 2026
We’re honored to share that Madison Partners has been recognized on Newsweek’s America’s Top Financial Advisory Firms 2026 list. Here’s what the recognition covers and, more importantly, what it doesn’t change for you.
Madison Partners has been named to America’s Top Financial Advisory Firms 2026, a national ranking published by Newsweek in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group. We wanted to share the news directly with our clients, rather than let it just sit on an awards page somewhere.
We also want to be straightforward about what this recognition is, and what it isn’t.
Madison Partners was named to Newsweek’s America’s Top Financial Advisory Firms 2026 list, a ranking compiled by Plant-A Insights Group from SEC-registered advisory data. The list is research-based, not a paid placement, and reflects firm-level metrics rather than a promise of investment results.
How the ranking works
Plant-A Insights Group evaluated more than 16,000 SEC-registered advisory firms nationwide. To even be considered, a firm had to manage at least $20 million in assets, employ a minimum of three wealth advisers, serve at least five individual clients, hold at least two years of SEC registration, and maintain a clean disciplinary record.
From that shortlist, firms were scored on a handful of factors: growth in assets under management, growth in the client base, the ratio of credentialed advisers to clients, the breadth of services offered, and the presence or absence of conflicts of interest. The top 1,000 firms out of that pool made the final list.
Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group have stated the process runs on no pay-to-play basis and there’s no application to submit. Firms are identified and scored using public data, not nominated by themselves.
A ranking can tell you a firm has grown responsibly and kept its clients. It can’t tell you whether that firm is the right fit for your specific retirement, your tax situation, or your family’s goals. That part is still on us to prove, one conversation at a time.
What this means if you work with us
Nothing about your relationship with your advisor changes because of this list. The team you talk to, the plan you’ve built together, and the way we approach your portfolio all stay exactly the same.
What the recognition does reflect is the trajectory we’ve been on: steady growth in the households we serve, low client turnover, and a team of credentialed advisers relative to the number of clients we take on. Those are the kinds of things that tend to show up when a firm is doing right by the people it works with.
What this means if you’re considering us
If you’re evaluating advisory firms, a third-party list like this one is a reasonable data point, but it shouldn’t be the only one. We’d encourage you to ask any firm you’re considering, including us, the same questions: how are advisers compensated, what’s the client-to-adviser ratio, and what services are actually included versus billed separately.
Who This Update Is Really For
- Current clients who want to know why they might see this mentioned in an email or on our website
- Prospective clients doing due diligence on firms before choosing an advisor
- Anyone who wants the actual methodology behind the headline, not just the headline
The bottom line
We’re glad to be recognized, and we think it says something meaningful about how Madison Partners has grown. But a list doesn’t replace a plan, and it doesn’t replace the conversation about what you actually need. If you have questions about your own plan, or you’re just curious how we work, we’re happy to talk it through.
2026 ranking based on data from Sept. 2020–Sept. 2025. Created and tabulated by Plant-A Insights Group and published with Newsweek. Madison Partners did not pay for consideration or selection and paid a post-selection licensing fee to use the award logo. The recognition should not be construed by a client or prospective client as a guarantee to experience a certain level of results; a current or past endorsement if Madison Wealth Partners is engaged.
